My mother was very           when I called her up because there were some           in our courtyard. My mother asked me to find a good way to get rid of them. I felt very          , as it was a good chance for me to           myself by inventing something           that would catch the snakes but not           them.
I was very           to find that there only seemed to be powders           to kill snakes. A new approach was clearly needed. So I set about researching the habits of snakes to find the easiest way to           them. Prepared with some research findings, I decided on three possible          . And at last I decided to use the last one. Unluckily, the first two attempts didn't work very well. After I           my plan and improved my design, I succeeded in catching the snakes and          them all back into the wild without hurting them.
Pressed by my friends and relations, I decided to          the opportunity to get recognition for my successful idea by sending my invention to the patent office.
The           are so strict that it is           to get new ideas accepted unless they are truly novel. Now it's a matter of waiting and hoping for me. Wish me luck!
