CPC's（中国共产党的）100th birthday

The CPC will have its 100th birthday on July 1，2021.When it was founded （建立）in 1921，it only had about 50 members.They wanted to save the country from the war.Since its first day，the Party has been trying its best to build a strong and modern country.

    The Tokyo Olympics

Because of the COVID﹣19，the Tokyo Olympics was put off.The Tokyo governor said， "Vaccines （疫苗）have brought a ray of hope and we will be able to enjoy the Games from July 23 to August 8. " The city is preparing to host the Olympics.The torch （火炬）will travel around Japan and reach Tokyo in July.The athletes （运动员）will take part in 339 events across 33 different sports.The Tokyo Olympics will have five new sports for the first time-baseball，karate （空手道），skateboard，sports climbing and surfing （冲浪）.

    Dubai World Expo （博览会）

Dubai is going to hold the World Expo this year.It will last from October 1，2021 to March 31，2022.Visitors can enjoy delicious food and other kinds of culture from around the world.We can also learn about the most advanced （先进的）technology of our time.There will be many pavilions （展馆）from different countries and regions （地区）.
